Parkinson's disease is a complex degenerative disease of the elderly nervous system, and its non-motor symptoms are important factors affecting the life and family of patients with Parkinson's disease. Clinically, constipation, anxiety and depression, sleep disorders and cognitive dysfunction are the main factors, which have a profound impact on patients' daily life and work. Moreover, non-motor symptoms sometimes appear earlier than motor symptoms, so early diagnosis and treatment are required. It has important implications for Parkinson's disease. However, the pathogenesis and pathological process of non-motor symptoms are still unclear. This article aims to provide ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease from the perspective of renal treatment.

Based on the theory of "mutual nourishment between the spleen and kidney," this paper explores the regulatory mechanisms of the spleen and kidney in the menstrual axis under Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory. It systematically discusses the core role of the Spleen and Kidney-Tian Gui-Chong Ren-Uterus axis in the physiology and pathology of female menstruation. By reviewing classical TCM literature and modern research findings, the paper argues for the synergistic regulation of the spleen and kidney on the production of Tian Gui(Gate of Life), the controlling and replenishment of Thoroughfare-Conception Vessels, and the storage and discharge functions of the uterus. Combining modern research on the neuro-endocrine reproductive axis, the paper elucidates the functional connections between the spleen-kidney theory and the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis. It also summarizes the experiences of ancient and modern physicians in treating menstrual disorders from the perspective of the spleen and kidney, aiming to provide new insights for the exploration and application of the female menstrual axis in modern TCM and to offer references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of menstrual disorders.

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to uncover potential targets and mechanisms for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding through a network pharmacological study of Erzhi Pills

METHODS: Network pharmacology was used to predict the active ingredients and potential targets for abnormal uterine bleeding of Erzhi Pill, and the binding affinity was explored using molecular docking techniques. The relevant associated signalling pathways were studied using GO and KEGG enrichment analysis.

RESULTS: Based on the network pharmacology results, two key active ingredients, Acetin and Kaempferol, were screened, and three potential therapeutic targets, TP53, TNF, and AKT1, were screened using STRING and PPI networks. The enrichment analysis showed that these potential therapeutic targets were mainly involved in signalling pathways related to metabolism and inflammation. The binding was observed using the molecular docking technique, and both active ingredients and potential targets showed good affinity.

CONCLUSION: This study contributes new research evidence on the potential mechanism of Erzhi Pill in the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding. The results of both network pharmacology and molecular docking techniques suggest a potential therapeutic effect of Erzhi Pill on abnormal uterine bleeding. However, these results need to be further investigated to provide more profound clinical information.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is the most common degenerative disease of articular cartilage in clinic.Non steroidal drug resistance（NSAIDs） has been controversial in recent years due to its serious side effects.Traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used in the treatment of KOA due to its advantages of small adverse reactions, good effect and low cost.Reports of traditional Chinese medicine related to the treatment of KOA are increasing.And a lot of research has been carried out on the mechanism of action.This article reviews the clinical application and related mechanisms of “Qin medicine” in the treatment of KOA.To provide clinical basis and theoretical basis for the application of KOA Chinese medicine in the treatment of “Qin medicine”.

The theory of "Earth Pivot Four Elephants, One Qi Circulation" was initially proposed by Huang Yuanyu, a royal physician in the Qing Dynasty. It emphasizes the central role of the spleen and stomach in the middle burner as the pivot, with the liver and lungs serving as the wheels of the four elephants. This theory highlights that the healthy movement of middle qi ensures the smooth circulation of qi, allowing clear yang to rise and turbid yin to descend. Based on this theory and the holistic view of "Earth Pivot Four Elephants," this article posits that dizziness arises from the deficiency of the middle earth, the failure of the pivot to rotate, leading to liver stagnation, wind disturbance, lung stagnation, turbid reversal, and the loss of nourishment to the clear orifices. Clinically, the focus should be on strengthening the middle burner, restoring the pivot's function, and regulating the liver and lungs to harmonize the ascending and descending movements, thereby achieving coordinated wheel and pivot movements and the smooth circulation of qi. This approach aims to provide new insights for the clinical treatment of dizziness.

Objective: The Delphi questionnaire was used to evaluate and analyse 109 symptoms of 8 categories in the pool of Chinese medical evidence of tumours, and was used to formulate the "Tumour Disease Mechanism Evaluation Scale", with the aim of establishing a unified and standardized criterion for the clinical diagnosis of tumours. Methods: The questionnaire content of the "Eight Methods of Tumour Disease Mechanisms" was formulated by collating disease entries through literature review. Experts' opinions were collected through the Delphi method, and the degree of coordination and concentration of experts were statistically analysed after the collection. Results: Through two rounds of Delphi questionnaire analysis, experts' enthusiasm was 100%, the authority coefficient of the first-level index was 0.685, the second-level index was 0.065 and 0.593, and six indexes with poor correlation were deleted. Conclusion: The experts participating in this survey are representative, with high motivation and good coordination of their opinions on the questionnaire entries, and the "Tumour Disease Mechanism Identification and Evaluation Scale" formulated using this questionnaire has practical value.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the anticancer effects of Gloydius brevicaudus venom (GBV), a natural bioactive substance, on lung cancer through in vivo and in vitro experiments, and to explore its mechanism of action. Methods included measuring the inhibition rate with the CCK-8 assay, detecting cell apoptosis via flow cytometry, and analyzing the expression of apoptosis-related proteins by Western blot. A nude mouse xenograft model was established, with intratumoral injection as the administration route, administered every two days. The therapeutic effect of GBV on the xenograft model was observed, and immunohistochemical analysis was performed to detect the expression of tumor proliferation marker Ki-67 in the nude mice. The results from in vitro experiments showed that GBV exhibited cytotoxicity against tumor cells and induced apoptosis. GBV significantly upregulated the expression of proteins Bax, Cleaved-Caspase-3, Cleaved-Caspase-8, and Cleaved-Caspase-9 (P<0.05), while downregulating the expression of protein Bcl-2 (P<0.05). In vivo results demonstrated that medium and high concentrations of GBV significantly inhibited the growth of A549 tumor xenografts in nude mice. Immunohistochemical analysis showed that GBV at medium and high concentrations significantly reduced the expression level of Ki-67 in vivo. In conclusion, GBV can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in A549 cells in vitro through both the mitochondrial pathway and death receptor pathway. In vivo, GBV significantly inhibits the growth of A549 xenografts and regulates tumor cell cycle and proliferation.

Objective: This study was to investigate the correlation between serum CRP levels and ferritin in patients with chronic heart failure.

Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study. We investigated 210 patients with heart failure who attended the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from December 2023 to February 2025. Comparison of iron parameters between different ultrasensitive C-reactive protein quartiles was made.

Results: The highest quartile group (Q4) of ultrasensitive C-reactive protein had significantly higher serum ferritin levels than the first (Q1) second (Q2) and third (Q3) quartile groups, Q1 [133.7 (88.4, 204.8)],Q2 [129.0 (77.1, 256.8)],Q3 [121.3 (58.7, 189.5)],Q4 [202.0 ( 106.3446.2)], p < 0.05.

Conclusion: Ferritin levels in patients with chronic heart failure are influenced by a number of factors in their condition, and the use of ferritin may overestimate the iron status of patients with chronic heart failure.
