Abstract
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) pose a significant public health challenge worldwide, requiring comprehensive and community-based approaches for prevention and management. This review examines the effectiveness of community-based interventions in addressing NCDs, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and respiratory diseases. It synthesizes evidence from intervention studies and community trials to evaluate the impact of various strategies, including health education, lifestyle modification programs, and community health worker interventions, on NCD outcomes. Furthermore, the review discusses implementation challenges and facilitators, as well as strategies for scaling up and sustaining community-based NCD interventions.
