Abstract
Agricultural workers are frequently exposed to pesticides, which pose significant risks to their health. This review examines the epidemiological evidence linking pesticide exposure to adverse health outcomes among agricultural workers, including acute poisoning, chronic diseases, and reproductive disorders. It discusses the different routes of pesticide exposure, such as dermal contact, inhalation, and ingestion, and evaluates the factors influencing individual susceptibility to pesticide toxicity. Furthermore, the review explores preventive measures and policy interventions aimed at reducing pesticide-related health risks in agricultural settings.
