Abstract

Sustainable agricultural policies and practices are critical for promoting food security, reducing poverty, and enhancing environmental resilience in developing countries. This paper examines the challenges and opportunities associated with the adoption of sustainable agriculture in resource-constrained settings. It discusses policy frameworks, investment strategies, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural practices, including agroecology, conservation agriculture, and smallholder farming systems. The paper also explores the role of international partnerships, technology transfer, and market access in facilitating the transition towards sustainable agriculture. By integrating social, economic, and environmental considerations, developing countries can enhance agricultural productivity, livelihoods, and food sovereignty while safeguarding natural resources for future generations.
