Abstract

Remote sensing technologies offer valuable tools for monitoring agricultural landscapes and assessing environmental changes at various scales. This paper provides an overview of remote sensing applications in agriculture and environmental monitoring, focusing on the use of satellite imagery, drones, and other airborne platforms. It explores the role of remote sensing in crop health assessment, yield estimation, land use mapping, and natural resource management. The paper also discusses challenges and opportunities associated with data acquisition, processing techniques, and integration with geographic information systems (GIS) for informed decision-making in agriculture and environmental conservation.
