Abstract

Agrochemicals play a crucial role in modern agriculture by enhancing crop yields and controlling pests and diseases. However, their widespread use raises concerns about environmental pollution and human health risks. This paper examines the environmental impact of agrochemicals, including pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides, on soil, water, and air quality. It discusses strategies for mitigating harmful effects, such as integrated pest management, precision application techniques, and the development of eco-friendly alternatives. The paper also highlights the importance of regulatory measures, public awareness campaigns, and sustainable agricultural practices in minimizing the environmental footprint of agrochemicals.
