Abstract

Sustainable packaging solutions are increasingly important in the food industry to address environmental concerns and consumer preferences. This paper explores various sustainable packaging materials and technologies, including biodegradable plastics, compostable packaging, and recyclable materials. It discusses the benefits and challenges of implementing sustainable packaging solutions, such as resource efficiency, reduced carbon footprint, and end-of-life disposal considerations. The paper also examines regulatory frameworks, industry initiatives, and consumer trends driving the adoption of sustainable packaging practices in the food industry.
