Call for Papers: Special Issue on COVID-19
The Journal of Public Health & Environment is announcing a call for papers for a special issue dedicated to research on the COVID-19 pandemic. As this global health crisis continues to impact communities worldwide, there is an urgent need for a deeper understanding of the virus, its transmission, effects, and the public health responses to it.
We invite researchers, academics, and professionals from various disciplines to contribute original research articles, review articles, case studies, and policy analyses related to COVID-19. Topics of interest for this special issue include, but are not limited to:
- Epidemiology of COVID-19
- Public health interventions and their effectiveness
- Environmental factors influencing COVID-19 transmission
- Social determinants of health and COVID-19 disparities
- Innovative technologies in tracking and combating the virus
- Psychological impacts and mental health responses to the pandemic
- Lessons learned and future preparedness for pandemics
Submission Guidelines:
- We accept submissions on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline to accommodate the rapidly evolving nature of COVID-19 research.
- All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review to ensure the publication of high-quality research.
- Authors are encouraged to clearly articulate the implications of their findings for public health policy and practice.
This special issue aims to collate and disseminate critical research findings that can inform public health strategies and interventions in the ongoing fight against COVID-19. By bringing together a diverse range of perspectives and insights, we hope to contribute to the global effort to understand and overcome this unprecedented challenge.
